Spanish travel blogger Domi visited Hamburg for a couple of days and published an article on his blog Los Viajes de Domi, showing 10 places you should not miss while in Hamburg.
1. International Maritime Museum
This museum in Speicherstadt is dedicated to the maritime world and has plenty interesting exhibiton-floors to offer. For sure, one of the most important museums in town.
Opening hours are from Monday until Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

2. Speicherstadt
The Speicherstadt is the old warehouse district and was built between 1883 and 1927. It is part of UNESCO world heritage.
3. Old Elbe tunnel and Hamburg’s skyline
The old Elbe tunnel is connecting both riversides and is definitely one of the most interesting sights. A walk under the river Elbe through this historic tunnel is rewarded with a fantastic view on Hamburg’s skyline.
4. Hamburg’s historic centre
Hamburg’s historic city centre has plenty to offer. Make sure to vist the Rathaus (town hall), Nicholaikirche and „Michel“ (Hamburg’s famous church) and Deichstraße. Drifiting along the area, you will discover a lot of interesting buildings and sights.
5. Hamburg harbour
Hamburg harbour is not only one of the biggest ports of the world but definitely a must see.
6. St. Pauli and Reeperbahn
Hamburg’s red light and party disctrict.
7. Elbphilharmonie
Hamburg’s newest landmark is the philharmonic hall Elbphilharmonie. Even though it is quite diffficult to get concert tickets, as they are sold out immediately, it is always possible to visit the „Plaza“. From there you have gret 360° view of the city.
8. Alster
Hamburg is characterized by water and lake Alster can be seen as it’s beating heart.
9. Planten un Blomen
Hamburg’s biggest park in the city centre is inviting for a walk and a short getaway from the vibrant city life.
10. Fischmarkt
Taking place every Sunday in the early morning.
