Recently I went on a citytrip to Hamburg with my mother. It was a successful weekend, partly because of the nice hotel we stayed in.
Our home during our weekend in Hamburg was Heikotel am Stadtpark, a neat, modern and fresh hotel in the middle of the Winterhude district near a large city park. The Saarlandstraße underground station is only a 5-minute walk from the Heikotel. With the S-bahn you will reach the centre of Hamburg in less than 15 minutes – just perfect!
Our room was compact and fully equipped: a sitting area, two comfortable beds, WiFi, a minibar, an espresso machine.
Breakfast was a real highlight: an enormous choice of sandwiches, salads, yoghurt, muesli, fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, and so on. I loved it!
All in all, I can say that the Heikotel is a very good choice if you decide to go on a city trip to Hamburg. I found it a huge advantage that the metro station is so close and that we could park our car for free near the hotel. And of course I will never forget that awesome breakfast!
