Camilla is definitely a Berliner. But, there is a city where her heart has been set on for many years: Hamburg. Even in her youth she was often in the Hanseatic city, had her first love here, many friends and always had an unbelievable number of dates. If you ask yourself now, why is she so attached to this city, Camilla from the blog Mummy Mag has a few good reasons, which are definitely convincing!
The following things definitely belong to a trip to Hamburg:
The Port of Hamburg – it is the third largest port in Europe and a real icon. And of course, it is a magnet for tourists. But we Hamburgers also love the port and enjoy spending time there.
The Beaches – THIS is one of the most incredible things about Hamburg: the many beaches. For Camilla it is like taking a little vacation.
The gastronomy! In Berlin, they are a bit spoiled when it comes to the gastronomy scene. Culinary Camilla and her husband have also been spoiled by us Hanseatic people. The two tell us a few of their favourites, which they would like to recommend directly to you:
The perfect starting point for all these activities for the couple was the „Renaissance Hamburg Hotel“. It belongs to the Marriott Hotels and is located pretty much perfectly in the city. The rooms are huge, the beds a dream (especially for parents who usually share the bed with little voles) and above all the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired – even in Corona times. You can walk to the Jungerfernstieg in just 5 minutes or be in Neustadt in 10 minutes. Also to various S- and U-Bahn stations it is only a stone’s throw away. Perfect, right?
