Heikotel am Stadtpark Hamburg
The hotel is close to the center of Hamburg, which is of course super nice! You can take the metro from the hotel to for example the center, the harbor or the station. Our room was neat and equipped with all comforts. A nice bed, storage space and a wonderful shower. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty! A perfect base for an overnight stay to get to know Hamburg, we would definitely come back here!
What to do in Hamburg?
We ourselves have done a number of things in Hamburg. First we visited the older part, near the harbor. A nice place to walk around and there is plenty to see! Here are many old buildings and of course the harbor is already impressive to see. In addition, we have also been in the center of Hamburg, where we have been delicious food and have walked around nicely. Of course I also shopped at the DM, for example, to stock up on some stock! Recommended?
I definitely recommend Hamburg to visit! However, I must say that I find the city ideal for 1 or 2 nights, but not longer either. There is a lot to see, but that works fine in these days. You can sniff culture, eat out and there are plenty of shops to visit! Especially for families or couples, Hamburg is a nice city to discover together.
