Three Days in Hamburg

Emiel and Annemarie from the Netherlands visited Hamburg for three days. This is a summary of their blogpost on Act of Traveling:

We, Emiel and Annemarie from the Netherlands, were first-time visitors to Hamburg. We knew Hamburg from its harbor and the infamous Reeperbahn. Other people told us how they have fallen in love with Hamburg, but they couldn’t explain exactly why.

So off we went for a 3 day trip. Here is our story, a check-list for first-time visitors. A story about a pretentious city that still keeps its feet on the ground. We loved the polished side of Hamburg: the red-bricked warehouse district (Speicherstadt) and the modern Hafencity. We were even more surprised by the diverse, vibrant part in districts like St. Pauli (yes, with the Reeperbahn) and Schanzenviertel.
